The Work comprises the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the transfer pumping stations, gravity sewers and pumping mains, sewage treatment works and treated sewage effluent return main from The Pearl-Qatar to the new treatment plant located some 10km to the north east of The Pearl. The principal elements of the Works to be designed and constructed include, but are not necessarily limited to the following and their associated buildings and controls l A new raw sewage pumping station l Modification of an existing raw sewage pumping station l 10km of gravity sewers and pumping mains l Membrane Biological Reactor (MBR) sewage treatment works l Treated sewage effluent (TSE) pumping station l 10km of TSE pumping main
